Well, it is that time of year again. Actually it is past that time of year. BLT is looking to its donors to help get the 2012-13 season off the ground. This summer has been expensive for BLT and we really need your help.
Right now the BLT donor list is nearly empty and Elaine’s name looks sad all by itself on that great big page. (Take a look here.) Please donate today and help fill in the donor page.
This year BLT is also joining with the Latino Theatre Projects to present a 5th show (actually the first show), but that all takes money. Money BLT hopes you will contribute.

Afterword by Craig (July 26): I’ve added a photo of Dave Baldwin, our most frequent lighting designer, helping us out with hanging BLT’s new curtains last summer. This is one of the many things we do at BLT to keep the theatre operational that most of our audience never sees. It’s one of the reasons I write articles like this about what I and others do behind the scenes. As Eric wrote a few days ago, even getting tickets printed can be a costly and time-consuming process. The time and money required to put on shows is a lot more than what you see on stage. It keeps us busy, that’s for sure.
So give us money, or we’ll have nothing else to do but come fix your curtains.
